Elva Rubalcava

The Disneyland Resort

As Manager of Corporate Citizenship at Disneyland Resort, Elva Rubalcava is responsible for developing Corporate Citizenship strategies that have the greatest impact in the community and ensure that the resort maintains a visible leadership position, setting the standard for corporate social responsibility. She oversees a variety of community outreach projects and programs from development to implementation and evaluation, working with internal and external partners to ensure success. Elva also serves as a liaison to external community, non-profit, and business leaders in order to better understand and respond to their needs. She is also the key point of contact for diverse community outreach. As a Public Affairs Senior Manager, she provides leadership and coaching to team members to assist with their professional development and ensure optimum performance.

Before coming to the Disneyland® Resort, Elva served as the Executive Director of the Luévano Foundation, a local non-profit that awards scholarships to Latino children attending Orange County Catholic schools. Prior to the Luévano Foundation, Elva served as Public Affairs Manager and Supplier Diversity Manager for Southern California Edison. As Public Affairs Manager at Southern California Edison, she represented the company and established and maintained positive relationships with government officials, community leaders, business leaders, media, social, and civic organizations. As Supplier Diversity Manager, Elva promoted the procurement of products and services from minority-owned, women-owned, and disabled veteran-owned businesses.

A native of Southern California, Elva received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from the University of California at Los Angeles. She currently sits on the Advisory boards of the American-Indian Chamber of Commerce and the Vietnamese Chamber of Commerce of Orange County.
