Meg McComb proudly serves on the VACOC Board of Directors, and currently is Chair of Government Affairs and Co-Chair of Health and Wellness.
In 1984, Meg established McComb Insurance Services, and serves many of her original individual and group clients to this day. Meg has expertise in these insurance products: major medical; dental/vision; life; long term care; Medicare; and voluntary. She prides herself on delivering professional and personal service, and customizing clients’ insurance portfolios to best suit their needs.
Since the passage of the Affordable Care Act in 2010, Meg is a frequent public speaker for companies and civic groups seeking knowledge about Covered California, compliance issues, and an overview of mandated plan benefits.
Besides her involvement in VACOC, Meg is active in the California Association of Health Underwriters. She served as VP of Communications from 2012-2015, and previously was Vice Chair of Legislation. She frequently advocates on behalf of clients’ health insurance issues both in Sacramento and in Washington.
